In 1966, the Platner Collection captured the “decorative, gentle, graceful” shapes that were beginning to infiltrate the modern vocabulary. The iconic side table is created by welding curved steel rods to circular frames, simultaneously serving as structure and ornament.
Dimensions: Top 15 3/4" diameter x 18" high
Frame: Vertical steel wire rods welded tocircular horizontal and edge-framing rods. Finish in bright nickel with a clear lacquer protection, a painted metallic bronze,
Base: Clear plastic extrusion ring for smooth bottom surface.
Glass top: clear 1/4" thick tempered glass or bronzed depending on structure.
