The A110 Pendant lamp was designed by Alvar Aalto for the building of the Finnish Engineers' Association. The lamp's beauty is based on its shape which is extremely simple and unique at the same time. The lamp is formed by two cylinders, one inside the other, and the light is reflected upwards. As a nice detail, the lamp has a perforated steel ring through which the light is diffused, reflecting downwards. The same model was used in the Council Chamber of Säynätsalo Town Hall.
